By Plane:
We offer collection from Limoges Airport for full board week long holidays (a
charge will be incurred to cover costs - please enquire)
You can travel to
Limoges from:
Southampton,
Newcastle, Manchester, London Standstead, East midlands, Liverpool.
By Train:
Eurostar - London
Waterloo to Paris. Then go down the steps to the Metro, it's one line
(with 5 stops) to Gard Austerlitz where you get on direct line train to
Chateauroux. Ask RailEurope.co.uk for a quote. We can collect
you from the station extra charge.
By Car:
Ferries: Dover to Boulogne, Folkestone to Dunkirk,
Portsmouth to Caen, Newhaven to Dieppe, Portsmouth, Weymouth and Poole to
St Malo.
Tunnel: Dover
to Calais. Contact Eurotunnel for a quote. www.eurotunnel.com
It takes 6.5 to 7 hours from Boulogne. 5 to 6 hours from Le Havre or Dieppe. 7 to 7.5
hours from St. Malo. If travelling from Calais or Boulogne - don't go via
Paris - go via Rouen, Dreux, Chartres, Orleans. It is just as quick
and less stressful.
It will cost around
20€ toll fees travelling via autoroute from the north.
From St Malo, there
are no tolls (not that I know of, anyway!).
If you want to extend your holiday and have a
night-stop on the way or way back - we recommend Hotel B&B and Formule1 as
two very economical, clean and comfortable options. You can easily book
online.

"A perfect rural retreat"
We had such a lovely holiday at La Loge Sagrolle. It was truly a
home from home with every comfort you could want.
It's well furnished and its spacious. We wanted a holiday to get
away from a hectic lifestyle and it was perfect for that. The owners
are lovely, they are on hand if you need anything but don't intrude.
We had small children in our group and the garden was perfect for
them. My son in law is already talking of booking again for next
year. Bikes are provided if you want to cycle on the local lanes. If
you want peace and quiet and a remedy to 21st century city life this
place is perfect.
